RIP Heavy D (1967-2011)
It's just been reported about an hour ago that LEGENDARY 90s rapper Heavy D (Dwight Myers) has passed away. Allegedly, there was a call to 911 from Myers' Beverly Hills house at around 11:30A. The call included someone describing an unconscious male (assumingly talking about Myers) on the walkway, but when help arrived he was conscious and speaking. He was rushed to a LA Hospital around noon, and was reported dead around 1:00P. The cause is not confirmed but said to be a bad case of pneumonia. He was 44. Prayers to all of his family, friends, and fans.
Heavy D had just performed at the BET Hip Hop Awards 2011 and allegedly planned to release a new album soon.
